First confirm whether the equipment is eligible for import. Check whether it is listed in the Catalogue of Used Mechanical and Electrical Products Permitted for Import, and that its emissions meet China Stage III or above. For some models, the Pre-filing Certificate for Imported Used Mechanical and Electrical Products can be obtained in advance to simplify later clearance.
